This isn't a guide you just read — you get practical to-dos

  • Why ranking alone is no longer enough to get chosen
  • Which page types you should prioritise first
  • How to test whether your copy answers the questions buyers actually ask
  • Why SEO, performance and customer service need to work closer together
  • What you can measure in Google AI & AI search — and what you shouldn't pretend to measure

Navigate today's search landscape

Interest in Google AI and AI search has exploded. But most marketing teams are still working in the dark. It's unclear what drives visibility in AI Overviews, AI Mode and AI assistants like ChatGPT and Gemini — and even less clear how it ties to the business. This playbook shows what drives visibility in AI search and how to prioritise the right work to move the till. Take the playbook and start with what makes a difference.

Perfect for you if you:

  • Own growth, traffic or revenue inside an e-commerce business
  • Already invest in SEO, but notice that ranking alone no longer pays out
  • Have traffic and content but don't see a proportional impact on organic revenue
  • Run a team or work across functions (SEO, content, performance, customer service) but lack a clear direction for what drives results in Google AI and AI search
  • Need to understand how Google AI and AI search are changing what gets chosen — not just what ranks
  • Want to prioritise the right pages and the right work based on commercial potential, not "SEO activity"
